OLD GALA HOUSE
GALASHIELS
16TH AUGUST
9PM - 2AM
Join us as we investigate this beautiful building for the very first time!
Old Gala House is a museum and conference centre situated in the Old Town area of Galashiels in the Scottish Borders. The building was originally built as a tower house in 1457.
Once home to the Lairds of Galashiels and with over 400 years of history, the house is now a museum and gallery which tells the story of the town and its people.
Guests and staff alike have reported unsettling experiences, reports of mysterious lights flickering out of the corner of their eyes, statues moving, and ghostly echoes of whistling and children’s laughter. Some have felt the chilling presence of a looming, spectral figure towering over them, its icy aura reminiscent of a Scottish winter.
