The Museum is now the sole aviation Museum left in Cumbria.
With all the aviation exhibits and artifacts, especially from the Second World War and also individual displays featuring the development of Blue Streak, Martin Baker ejection seats and the development and activities of the Airport itself since the Second World War, it’s no surprise that the Museum is extremely haunted! 
When we were here in March we witnessed Shadow figures, footsteps and other strange thiings. Guests reported being touched/pushed and invisible hands have opened and closed doors on their own!!
